IPL is a fantastic treatment for mild to moderate active acne and its associated skin discolouration. Intense Pulsed Light can be very effective at calming overactive oil glands and removing any bacterial infection, particularly when used with specialist skin care regimes.

This treatment is suitable for all types of acne, unless the individual is taking the drug Roaccutane or has taken the drug during the past 6 months.

One treatment every 3 months is recommended for optimum results.

Microdermabrasion is also used to treat Acne Scarring, either on its own or in combination with IPL treatment.
